Attunement enchants still viable in PvE?
Greetings,
I am needing some help on deciding on an elementalist build and have decided to ask here for some advice. I have just recently arrived at Fire Island, and have capped Elemental Attunement. Well, I thought of running that skill along with the attunement of the element I happen to be running at the time. Problem I am having is that, once again, there are so many things here that have enchantment removal that I'm starting to wonder about the viability of such a build. The specifics of my fire build, which is what I am currently running, are as follows:
Ele/Mes
Energy Storage 13 (12+hat)
Fire Magic 13 (12+minor rune)
Domination 3
Skills: Elemental Attunement (E), Fire Attunement, Fireball, Phoenix, Meteor Shower, Rodgort's Invocation, Shatter Hex, Res Sig
Is such a build, running the attunements, still at all viable? Should I go back to my build that doesn't rely on attunements, or any enchants for that matter? Thank you in advance for your help.
Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again

In general, yes, you can still run a dual attunement build. You just have to be careful, and stay well back if there are enchantment strippers around. You might want to bring a cover, something like Aura of Restoration, that you can throw on after your attunements, since that will get removed instead of your attunements. Really, it shouldn't be much of a problem since by that point probably every person in your party will have at least one enchantment on them, so if you have a few nested enchantments, you should be ok.

Running two attunements at once works, especially with a "cover" like Rico Carridan mentioned.
Personally, I hate running my ele this way and go with Glyph of Energy or Ether Prodigy for my energy management needs. They're faster to come back into usage (unlike if an attunement is stripped soon after it is cast).

Thanks for the reminder Rico. I had forgotten about using Aura for a cover. Now I just have to decide what to drop. Hmm...

Until this point, yes I was running Glyph of Energy. I was just trying out the dual attunements to see if they gave better management. I haven't tried running Ether Prodigy yet, but I will look to cap it and see how it works (I'm thinking with Illusion of Weakness). Thanks for the heads-up there koneko.
I will still watch this thread to see if any other ideas crop up.

When i play fire i usually run a build like this.
Arcane Echo, Meteor Shower, Meteor, Fireball, Aura of Rest, Fire Attune, Ele Attune, Res Sig/Cap Sig
Basically I put up my ele attune first, then my aura, and use fire attune as a backup just so i'm not throwing energy away.
